Sustainable Construction and Buildings aim to minimize the environmental impact of construction and reduce energy consumption throughout a building's lifecycle. This involves using eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient designs, and green building practices like proper insulation and renewable energy sources.

Sustainable Architecture and Design extends this focus to urban planning, emphasizing energy efficiency, waste reduction, and harmonious integration with surroundings, often incorporating biophilic design principles. Both Sustainable Construction and Buildings and Sustainable Architecture and Design are vital for creating environmentally responsible built environments, contributing to overall sustainability goals like reducing carbon emissions and conserving resources.

At the Nordics for Climate Action event, we'll explore these topics to advance sustainable urban development and create eco-friendly cities. Sustainable urban development ensures cities meet current needs without compromising future generations, encompassing economic, environmental, and social sustainability. With Scandinavian cities leading in this area, China stands to benefit greatly from embracing similar practices, which can spur economic growth, enhance quality of life, and foster social inclusion.
